Random Stuff
OK I know I haven't posted in like three months and I need to get back in the habit of doing so... So this article is going to have a lot of random articles but that's why it's on Article Meltdown right? :)
so... First order of business is to announce that I am homeschooled!!!! (if you are wondering where you have heard this before it was because I mentioned it in another post last school year) So homeschooling is working out well and I go to co-op and do Scrap-booking, Drama, Science, and Writing.
Next, is that we are going to the beach in October!! I will be posting pictures and such on the blog after we get back.
Thirdly, I am in a play...
I am playing Sphrintze from Fiddler on the Roof. She has two or three lines, sings in all the group songs and sings a family song. She is the second-youngest daughter so she doesn't have to really sing any solos or get matches made for her or anything.
I think that is it but I am human I make mistakes so if you get on here in a couple days and you see there is another one just like this that's why :)

Brains of an Owl
All right Article Meltdown fans I have a new story series for you all. It is called: Brains of an Owl!!!
It is a couple of chapters long so here it is:
Chapter 1
The Long Night
“Hello and welcome to the game show called “What Is Up” Where the object of the game is to figure out what is up. Joining us on this dark stormy night is Angela the owl. So Angela, what are the white puffy things in the sky?” the Game Show host asked.
Angela replied, “Clouds, I am not that stupid.”
“Well um yeah good job, you just won 2,000 dollars.”
“Thank you, but I am an owl and I do not want money. I want a scholarship to an owl college that is why I am here.” Angela said.
“But we do not give away scholarships to owl colleges,” he muttered, “or any college for that matter.”
“Well than I am leaving,” Angela sighed. Then she walked off the set.
“Well then” the host said awkwardly, “that’s it for What is Up.”

Spruce Lake
For those of you who have never been to Spruce Lake before I have a special article for you. THIS ARTICLE IS GOING TO BE ALL ABOUT SPRUCE LAKE!!!!!! OK for starters, you have to be at school at 6:30 in the morning. You leave exactly at 7. That means you have to get up at like 5 in the morning. For those of you who like to sleep later than 5 in the morning you are probably saying Oh great why would she put this post up and go to a different website. Trust me if you are feeling that way don't do it... Spruce Lake is totally worth it. After you load up the cars off you go on a three hour trip. BUT the scenery is beautiful. When you pass the overlook it is BEAUTIFUL!!!! When you get there prepare for some comfort food. Spruce Lake has the best food ever!!!! DRINK CHOCOLATE MILK!!!! It is the best and tastiest way to get the nutrients of milk and sugar into your body. Trust me you need it. After you eat you unpack and get in your cabins. The cabins are the best, comfiest rooms ever. Depending on what grade you are in. You get to do bigger and more fun stuff the older you get. Like this year we got to do the Power Swing!!!! They drop you in a harness from a 30 ft. drop its awesome. On the day you leave you stop at McDonalds to eat. Spruce Lake is the best place ever to go on a overnight field trip!!!!!!

Book Review: King of the Shadows
For Literature we have to do book talks once a quarter. Book talks are a book report, a speech and a creative model. This quarter I read the book King of the Shadows by Susan Cooper. For my creative model I wrote a short story which I would like to share with you. If you are looking for a book to read I would highly recommend this one. If you would like to read an actual book review here is one from Wikipedia that I liked:

Well as you know Nat Field came to live with us from St. Paul’s School. A few days after he got here he got the plague so we sent him to bed with the gravest thoughts. We thought he would die but he didn’t. But, he didn’t seem like the Nat Field we knew before he got the plague. I thought nothing of it at the time. Now that he is gone well… Harry
Since you want me to say something about Nat, I guess I must since I am apprenticed to you. My name is Roper and Nat and I don’t get along well at all. Nat is good at gymnastics and I guess he is a tad bit better than me. But on the contrary he is terribly bad at fencing where as I am on of the best in the company. Well apart from you and Master Burbage I suppose. What’s that you say??? I have to talk about Nat???? Well Nat is a bothersome boy and a coward. One time we went to a bear-baiting and he ran away crying like a baby. Am I done now? Roper
Well now I am going to write about Nat even though I am the writer. Nat is a dramatic young boy. Now that we know what happened I was sad to see him go. Well see let me explain from the beginning. Nat Field was a boy who did go to St. Paul’s School and he got the bubonic plague. Now if I had gotten it from him and died I wouldn’t have written anymore plays for the company to perform. So somehow I sent him to the future to get the care he needed. Well he did and luckily got switched with a Nat Field from 1999. Strangely enough he knew the lines to the plays we did. Well so after he had been here for about a month, he got switched again with the Nat Field from now. We will always miss Nat Field from 1999 in our hearts. William Shakespeare
